The TRICO PE-1002-15 is a central lubrication system electric pump designed to deliver metered oil output to machine tool lubrication circuits. It operates on 110 volts and features a transparent 2-liter reservoir that allows quick visual inspection of oil level without disassembly. The pump delivers 3-6 cc of oil per cycle and cycles at a fixed 15-minute interval, producing 12-24 cc of output per hour. A drop-in filter located in the fill port helps keep contaminants out of the lubrication circuit. The unit is rated for use between 32 degrees F and 120 degrees F and has a maximum output pressure of 40 psi. Typical installers are industrial maintenance technicians and machine tool service personnel.
The PE-1002-15 is suited for use in shop and production environments where continuous or timed lubrication of machine tool slideways and other lubrication points is required. Compatible applications listed by the manufacturer include meter units, milling machines, punch presses, and other machine tools. The 5/16-24 outlet thread accommodates standard lubrication fittings common to these machine types. The unit dimensions of 130 mm wide, 225 mm high, and 200 mm deep make it compact enough to mount in typical machine cabinetry or on an adjacent panel.
Designed for use with meter units, milling machines, punch presses, and other machine tools requiring a centralized electric oil lubrication pump.
Installation should be performed by a qualified industrial maintenance technician or machine tool service professional. Disconnect and lock out all power to the machine before mounting the pump or making any lubrication line connections. Ensure the outlet fitting and distribution lines are rated for the pump maximum pressure of 40 psi before placing the unit in service. Fill the reservoir with the appropriate machine tool oil grade before initial startup and verify oil flow at each lube point after commissioning.
