The TRICO 33906 is an electrochemical grease cup lubricator designed to deliver continuous, automated lubrication to bearings, bushings, and other friction points in industrial and mechanical equipment. The unit holds 1.01 ounces (30 mL) of grease in a plastic reservoir and connects via a 1/4 NPT threaded shank. The electrochemical drive mechanism dispenses lubricant at a controlled rate without requiring external power, batteries, or manual regreasing intervals. It ships pre-filled with Mobilith SHC 220, a high-temperature synthetic grease. Licensed mechanics, millwrights, and equipment maintenance technicians are the primary installers of this type of unit.
The TRICO 33906 suits rotating equipment maintenance applications in industrial, commercial, and light manufacturing environments. It is well suited for electric motors, conveyor bearings, pumps, and fan shaft housings where consistent grease delivery reduces wear and extends component life. The compact form factor - 2.25 inches tall and 2.05 inches in diameter - fits tight equipment bays where larger automatic lubricators would not clear surrounding components. Operating temperature range is -20 to 55 degrees C, and maximum operating pressure is 5 bar (approximately 72.5 psi).
Compatible grease type is high-temperature synthetic grease; unit ships pre-filled with Mobilith SHC 220. Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation single-point lubricator for equipment using 1/4 NPT grease ports.
Installation is performed by qualified maintenance technicians or millwrights following applicable facility lockout/tagout procedures. De-energize and lock out all rotating equipment before mounting or replacing the lubricator. Thread the 1/4 NPT shank into a clean, compatible grease port by hand before applying a wrench to avoid cross-threading the plastic body. Follow the equipment manufacturer's recommended lubrication interval guidelines when setting the dispense rate.
