The TRENDNET TI-PG80 is an 8-port industrial hardened gigabit PoE+ unmanaged switch rated at 200 watts total PoE budget. Built for demanding environments, it delivers Power over Ethernet Plus (PoE+) on all eight ports, supplying both data and power over a single Ethernet cable to connected devices. The hardened construction is designed to withstand temperature extremes, vibration, and electrical noise common in industrial and commercial installations. Network technicians and systems integrators deploy this switch where standard commercial-grade hardware is not rated for the environment.
This switch is suited for industrial facilities, manufacturing floors, warehouses, and outdoor enclosures where reliable gigabit connectivity and PoE+ power delivery are required. Typical applications include powering IP cameras, VoIP phones, wireless access points, and industrial sensors directly from the switch without separate power injectors. The unmanaged design allows plug-and-play deployment without the need for configuration software or a dedicated network administrator.
Designed as an OEM-style deployment switch compatible with standard IEEE 802.3at PoE+ powered devices on gigabit Ethernet networks.
Installation is typically performed by a licensed network technician or systems integrator. Power down or disconnect the unit from its power source before making or removing cable connections during initial setup. Follow applicable local electrical codes and the manufacturer documentation when mounting the unit in an industrial enclosure or DIN-rail assembly. Do not exceed the 200-watt total PoE budget across all connected ports simultaneously.
