Product Description

The Trane Kit 2942 is a float mechanism designed for one and one-fourth inch 66CL (15 pound pressure) F&T traps. This mechanism facilitates the drainage of condensate from the trap. It operates through a lever and seat which is secured by screwing the seat into the outlet port of the trap. The float's weight keeps the lever down to close the seat when steam is present. As steam cools and condenses, the trap fills, lifting the float and opening the seat for drainage.
