The TPI FES15243E is a portable electric salamander heater designed for temporary heating in construction, industrial, and commercial job site environments. Running on 240-volt, three-phase power, this unit delivers 15 KW of output — equivalent to 51,195 BTU/h — with an 800 CFM airflow rate to push heated air across large open spaces. The built-in thermostat provides control up to 100 degrees F. Mounted on a wheeled cart, the FES15243E is repositioned easily by a single technician without additional equipment. The unit draws 36 amps at full load and is suited for licensed electricians or qualified contractors responsible for temporary power and site conditioning work.
The FES15243E is built for job sites where permanent HVAC is unavailable or insufficient — concrete curing, drywall drying, open warehouse heating, and similar temporary-heat applications. The wheeled cart mount allows quick repositioning between work zones. With a maximum thermostat operating temperature of 100 degrees F, the unit is intended for occupied or semi-enclosed spaces requiring controlled warmth rather than extreme-output applications. The yellow housing provides high visibility on active job sites.
Designed as an OEM-style portable electric salamander heater within the TPI FES series, suited for three-phase 240-volt temporary power distribution systems on commercial and industrial job sites.
Installation and connection of this unit should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with NEC requirements for temporary wiring on construction sites. Shut off and lock out the power source before making any electrical connections. Verify that the supply circuit is rated for 240 volts, three-phase, at a minimum of 36 amps with appropriately sized conductors and overcurrent protection. Ensure adequate clearance around the unit and that the work area has sufficient ventilation for safe electric heater operation.
