The TP-LINK USA CORPORATION POE160S is a single-port Power over Ethernet Plus (PoE+) injector designed to deliver both data and electrical power over a standard Ethernet cable to connected devices. It adds PoE+ capability to non-PoE network switches and routers, eliminating the need for a separate power adapter at the powered device. Supporting the 802.3at PoE+ standard, it provides up to 30 watts of power output through a single RJ45 port. Network technicians and low-voltage installers use this injector when running a dedicated power source to the access point or IP camera location is not practical.

The POE160S suits residential and light commercial network installations where a single powered device such as a wireless access point, IP camera, VoIP phone, or similar 802.3at-compatible endpoint requires remote power.
