The TOOL-FLO 612400RAC3R is a carbide threading insert designed for both internal and external thread cutting operations. Built to the FLTF-2R style in the Flo-Lock series, it cuts 60-degree V-form threads and handles a pitch range of 12-24 TPI internally and 14-44 TPI externally. The insert is manufactured from carbide at material grades C2 and C3, finished with a PVD coating process rated to the AC50 manufacturer grade. At 0.110 inches tip-to-top and 0.150 inches thick, it is a compact, purpose-built insert for threading on lathes and CNC turning centers. Right-hand cutting orientation is standard. Licensed machinists and CNC operators are the primary users of this component.
