The TITAN USA TR97595 is a high speed steel construction reamer designed to enlarge and finish drilled holes to precise tolerances in structural and fabrication applications. Measuring 3/8 inch in diameter with a matching 3/8 inch flatted shank, it seats securely in standard drill chucks and reamer holders. The left hand spiral geometry with right hand cutting action helps pull chips away from the workpiece during operation, reducing chatter and improving hole finish. With five flutes and a 2.5 inch flute length, this reamer delivers consistent material removal across a 4.625 inch overall length. It is suited for use in machine operations or handheld pneumatic tools on steel, iron, and similar materials.
This reamer is intended for construction, structural steel, and general metalworking environments where accurate hole sizing is required. Typical applications include enlarging bolt holes, aligning structural members, and finishing punched or rough-drilled holes in fabrication shops and field ironwork. The oxide and gold coating provides a degree of lubricity and surface protection during cutting. HVAC, mechanical, and structural trades working with steel channel, angle iron, or plate stock will find this size and geometry suitable for common hole sizing tasks.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-use construction reamer compatible with standard 3/8 inch reamer holders, drill chucks, and machine spindles accepting a flatted shank.
Installation and use of this reamer should be performed by machinists, fabricators, or qualified trade professionals familiar with rotating cutting tools. Secure the flatted shank firmly in the chuck or holder before use to prevent slippage under torque. Always power down or de-energize the machine and allow the spindle to come to a full stop before changing tooling. Use appropriate cutting fluid for the workpiece material to extend tool life and maintain hole quality.
