The TITAN USA TC99522 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling operations in metalworking and machining environments. With a 0.3438 inch (11/32) cutting diameter and a 30-degree helix angle, this tool delivers efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting performance. The AlTiN coating provides thermal resistance and extended tool life in ferrous and hardened materials. At 2.5 inches overall length with a 1 inch length of cut, the TC99522 is built for rigidity in tight-tolerance applications. It is installed and operated by machinists and CNC tool-room technicians working with milling machines and machining centers.
This end mill suits general-purpose and production milling in ferrous metals, alloys, and hardened steels where AlTiN coating provides heat resistance at elevated cutting speeds. The 0.375 inch straight shank fits standard ER collet chucks and end mill holders commonly found in vertical machining centers and manual knee mills. The centercutting capability allows plunge entry, and the right-hand, upcut flute geometry evacuates chips upward away from the workpiece. It is appropriate for slotting, profiling, and peripheral milling passes in shop and production environments.
Designed for use in standard 0.375 inch ER collet chucks or end mill holders on vertical and horizontal CNC machining centers and manual milling machines.
Installation and tool changes should be performed by a qualified machinist with the machine spindle fully stopped and the control in an e-stop or locked-out state per shop lockout/tagout procedures. Seat the shank fully into the collet or holder and torque the retention nut to the toolholder manufacturer specification. Inspect the cutting edges and coating for chips or damage before each use. Verify spindle speed and feed rate against the tool manufacturer recommendations for the workpiece material before starting the cut.
