The TITAN USA TC99513 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling operations in metal, alloy, and composite materials. Measuring 0.2031 inches in diameter with a 0.25-inch shank and a 0.625-inch length of cut, this end mill delivers accurate, repeatable results in tight-tolerance applications. The AlTiN coating provides heat and wear resistance, extending tool life in high-speed and dry-cutting conditions. The micrograin carbide substrate supports rigidity and edge retention under demanding cutting parameters. With a 30-degree helix angle and four flutes, it balances chip evacuation with surface finish quality. This tool is suited for machinists, toolmakers, and CNC operators working in job shop, production, or maintenance environments.
The TC99513 is well-suited for finish milling, profiling, and slotting operations where a small-diameter, four-flute end mill is required. Its upcut flute geometry pulls chips away from the work surface, reducing recutting and heat buildup. The right-hand cut and right-hand flute configuration align with standard CNC spindle rotation on vertical machining centers and mill-drill setups. The 2.5-inch overall length fits standard toolholders for compact work envelopes. It is centercutting, allowing direct plunge entry without a pre-drilled pilot hole.
Designed as a standard square end mill for use in CNC machining centers, manual knee mills, and mill-drill machines accepting a 0.25-inch shank diameter.
Installation and tool changes should be performed by a qualified machinist with the spindle fully stopped and locked out. Secure the shank in a collet chuck or end mill holder to the appropriate engagement depth before tightening. Verify runout with a dial indicator before beginning cuts, as excessive runout accelerates wear on small-diameter carbide tools. Follow machine manufacturer guidelines and applicable shop safety codes when setting speeds and feeds.
