The TITAN USA TC90026 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling operations in metalworking and machining environments. It features a 0.4063-inch cutting diameter with a 1-inch length of cut and a 7/16-inch (0.4375-inch) shank. The two-flute, upcut geometry combined with a 30-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation. A titanium carbonitride (TiCN) coating provides increased surface hardness and wear resistance for extended tool life in demanding applications. This end mill is center-cutting, single-end, and right-hand cut with right-hand flute direction. It is sized and specified for use by machinists and tool-and-die professionals in production and prototype machining settings.
This end mill is suited for milling slots, pockets, and profiles in ferrous and non-ferrous metals where a small-diameter, high-precision cutting tool is required. The micrograin carbide substrate supports cutting in harder materials where high-speed steel tooling would wear prematurely. The 2.75-inch overall length and standard shank diameter make it compatible with common collet and end mill holder setups on vertical machining centers and manual knee mills. The upcut flute design pulls chips away from the workpiece surface, reducing recutting and heat buildup at the cutting edge.
Designed as a direct-fit replacement or standard tooling selection for vertical machining centers, CNC mills, and manual knee mills using collet chucks or end mill holders with a 7/16-inch (0.4375-inch) shank bore.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist following the machine tool manufacturer torque and runout specifications for the toolholder in use. Ensure the spindle and machine are fully powered down and locked out before changing tooling. Seat the shank fully into the collet or holder to the recommended minimum engagement depth to prevent pullout under load. Inspect the cutting edges for chips or damage before each use.
