The TITAN USA TC90008 is a 2-flute solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling operations in metalworking and machining applications. It features a 0.125-inch (1/8-inch) cutting diameter, a 0.5-inch length of cut, and a 1.5-inch overall length. The tool is coated with TiCN (Titanium Carbonitride) for improved hardness and wear resistance. Constructed from micrograin solid carbide, it delivers consistent performance in demanding cutting environments. The 30-degree helix angle and upcut flute geometry promote efficient chip evacuation during milling passes. This end mill is centercutting, allowing both plunge and peripheral cuts.
This end mill is suited for use in CNC machining centers and manual mills where tight tolerances and clean finishes are required. The 0.125-inch shank diameter fits standard collets and tool holders in that size range. The right-hand cut and right-hand flute direction are consistent with conventional milling setups. It is appropriate for slotting, profiling, and contouring operations on ferrous and non-ferrous materials where a small-diameter, high-rigidity tool is needed. Typical users include machinists, tool-and-die makers, and CNC programmers working with tight-tolerance components.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-use solid carbide square end mill for standard 1/8-inch collets and tool holders used in CNC machining centers and manual milling machines.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist following standard toolholding procedures. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the tool holder is clean and free of debris before seating the end mill. Secure the shank fully within the collet to the recommended engagement depth per the tool holder manufacturer guidelines. Verify runout with a dial indicator before beginning cuts, as excessive runout on small-diameter carbide end mills can cause premature breakage.
