The TITAN USA TC74668 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for high-performance material removal in demanding machining environments. It features a 1-inch cutting diameter, 3-inch length of cut, and a 0.03-inch corner radius that reduces stress concentrations at the cutting edge and extends tool life in rigorous applications. The AlTiN (aluminum titanium nitride) PVD coating provides thermal resistance and hardness, making this tool well-suited for dry or semi-dry cutting conditions. With 4 flutes and a right-hand spiral flute configuration, it delivers both roughing and finishing capability in a single-end design. Machinists and CNC programmers working in aerospace, die and mold, and precision manufacturing environments will find this tool appropriate for their application requirements.
This end mill is engineered for use in superalloys, titanium alloys, Inconel, stainless steel, cast iron, alloy steel, and other ferrous metals. The extra-long 6-inch overall length and straight cylindrical shank with a 1-inch shank diameter make it compatible with standard toolholders used in vertical machining centers and CNC milling operations. The medium helix angle and normal pitch support stable cutting performance across the listed workpiece materials. This tool is appropriate for production shops and job shops running difficult-to-machine materials where tool rigidity and coating durability are critical.
Designed for use with standard toolholders in CNC milling applications. Suitable for machining superalloys, titanium alloys, Inconel, stainless steel, cast iron, and alloy steel workpieces.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC tooling specialist. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the tool changer is in a safe state before loading or unloading the end mill. Verify shank runout and toolholder clamping torque per the toolholder manufacturer specifications before initiating a cut. Confirm cutting parameters including feed rate, spindle speed, and depth of cut are appropriate for the workpiece material before production use.
