The TITAN USA TC74423 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for high-performance material removal in demanding machining environments. The tool measures 3/8 inch (0.3750 inches) in diameter with a 0.0200-inch corner radius, a 1.1250-inch reach length, and a 3-inch overall length. Four right-hand spiral flutes with a medium 30-degree helix angle deliver efficient chip evacuation during both roughing and finishing passes. An AlTiN (aluminum titanium nitride) PVD coating adds heat and wear resistance, making this end mill a practical choice for machinists working in aerospace, oil and gas, and precision manufacturing applications.
The TC74423 is suited for cutting superalloys, titanium alloys, Inconel, stainless steel, alloy steel, cast iron, and other ferrous metals. Its long-length geometry and straight cylindrical shank make it compatible with standard toolholders used in CNC vertical and horizontal machining centers. The single-end, corner radius end type with right-hand cutting direction is appropriate for slotting, profiling, and contouring operations where edge blending and surface finish are priorities. This tool is typically selected by CNC machinists and tool and die professionals running difficult-to-machine materials.
Designed for use with standard toolholders accepting a 3/8-inch straight cylindrical shank. Primary workpiece materials include superalloys, titanium alloys, Inconel, stainless steel, alloy steel, and cast iron. UNSPSC Code: 27112803.
Installation should be performed by a qualified CNC machinist or toolroom professional. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the tool magazine or turret is in a safe position before changing tooling. Confirm shank seating depth and runout with a dial indicator before beginning a cut, and verify toolholder torque to the toolholder manufacturer specifications. Do not exceed the tool manufacturer recommended speeds and feeds for the workpiece material being machined.
