The TITAN USA TC74126 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for demanding material removal in superalloys, titanium alloys, stainless steel, cast iron, alloy steel, and Inconel. It carries a 5/16 inch diameter with a 4-flute, right-hand spiral configuration and a 30-degree helix angle suited for both roughing and finishing passes. The AlTiN (aluminum titanium nitride) PVD coating improves heat resistance and extends tool life in high-temperature alloy cutting. With a corner radius of 0.0150 inches, it produces a controlled edge blend that reduces stress concentration at the workpiece corner. Machinists and tool-and-die technicians install this end mill using standard straight-cylindrical shank toolholders.
This end mill is built for use in CNC machining centers and manual mills where ferrous metals and high-temperature alloys are the primary workpiece materials. The single-end, non-centercutting design means it is not suited for direct plunge entry and is best applied in peripheral, slot, and contour milling operations. Its regular length classification and 13/16 inch length of cut make it appropriate for moderate-depth passes in production and job-shop environments where tool rigidity and surface finish consistency are both priorities. The Series TC designation places it within TITAN USA's line of solid carbide tooling for difficult-to-machine materials.
Designed for use with standard straight-cylindrical shank toolholders. Primary workpiece materials include superalloys, titanium alloy, Inconel, stainless steel, cast iron, alloy steel, and other ferrous metals.
Installation is performed by machinists or tooling technicians using a compatible collet chuck or end mill holder sized for a 5/16 inch shank. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the tool is secured to the manufacturer-recommended clamping depth before operation. This is a non-centercutting tool and must not be used for direct axial plunge cuts. Verify runout with a dial indicator after tool installation to protect both the tool and the workpiece surface finish.
