The TITAN USA TC73914 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for high-performance material removal in demanding machining applications. With a 3/16-inch cutting diameter, a 0.030-inch corner radius, and an AlTiN (aluminum titanium nitride) PVD coating, this tool handles both roughing and finishing passes in a single setup. The four-flute, right-hand helical geometry with a medium helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation while maintaining rigidity in stub-length configurations. Licensed machinists and CNC operators working with heat-resistant alloys and hard metals will find this tool well suited to their requirements.
This end mill is built for cutting superalloys, titanium alloys, Inconel, stainless steel, alloy steel, cast iron, and other ferrous metals. It fits standard straight-cylindrical toolholders with a 3/16-inch shank and is used in vertical machining centers, CNC mills, and manual knee mills where precise corner-radius profiling is required. The stub length-of-cut design keeps deflection low when working in tighter axial depths, making it a practical choice for finish contouring and detail work on aerospace, medical, and precision industrial components.
Designed for use with standard straight-cylindrical toolholders accepting a 3/16-inch shank diameter. Primary workpiece materials include superalloys, titanium alloy, Inconel, stainless steel, alloy steel, and cast iron.
Installation is performed by a machinist or CNC setup technician using an appropriate collet chuck or end mill holder. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is in an e-stop or lockout-tagout state before loading or changing tooling. Confirm the shank is fully seated and the holder is torqued to the toolholder manufacturer specification before running. Do not exceed the recommended depth of cut or feed rate for the workpiece material and coating type.
