The TITAN USA TC73911 is a 4-flute, single-end corner radius end mill ground from solid carbide and coated with AlTiN (aluminum titanium nitride) via a PVD process. It carries a 3/16-inch (0.1875 inches) mill diameter with a 0.0100-inch corner radius and cuts to a depth of 3/8 inches. Overall length is 2 inches on a straight-cylindrical 3/16-inch shank. The stub-length geometry keeps the tool rigid under aggressive feeds, making it well suited for both roughing and finishing passes. Licensed machinists and tool-and-die technicians are the primary users. The AlTiN coating delivers high heat resistance, which is critical when cutting hard or abrasive workpiece materials at elevated cutting speeds.

The TC73911 is designed for machining superalloys, titanium alloys, Inconel, stainless steel, alloy steel, and cast iron. It is a right-hand cutting, right-hand flute tool with a medium helix, normal pitch, and helical flute geometry. The stub reach length of 3/8 inches reduces deflection in tight pockets and contoured surfaces. It is used with a standard straight-shank toolholder on vertical machining centers and CNC milling machines. No chipbreaker and no coolant-through capability; external flood or mist coolant is the standard approach with this geometry. It is not center-cutting and is not intended for plunge entry.
