The TITAN USA TC58547 is a solid carbide, three-flute ball end mill designed for micro milling applications requiring long reach and precision. The cutting diameter measures 1.90 mm (0.0750 inches) with a ball nose radius of 0.0375 inches, making it suited for fine detail work and tight-tolerance contouring. A 30-degree medium helix angle supports efficient chip evacuation while maintaining surface finish quality. The bright, uncoated carbide construction handles both roughing and finishing passes in a single tool. This end mill is intended for use by machinists and CNC operators working with demanding workpiece materials where dimensional accuracy is critical.
This end mill is built for micro milling on CNC machining centers and high-speed spindle setups. Its extended reach and 0.3750-inch neck length allow access to deep pockets and recessed features that standard-length tooling cannot reach. The single-end, right-hand cutting configuration with a straight cylindrical shank fits standard collet and end mill holders with a 1/8-inch bore. Primary workpiece materials include steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, and superalloys including titanium, covering a broad range of shop applications.
Designed for use in standard 1/8-inch bore collet chucks and end mill holders on CNC machining centers; compatible with steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, and superalloys including titanium as stated by the manufacturer.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC operator. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is placed in an appropriate lock-out state before changing tooling. Seat the straight cylindrical shank fully in the collet to the recommended gauge length and torque the collet nut according to the toolholder manufacturer specifications. Verify runout with a dial indicator before beginning the cut, as excessive runout at this diameter will accelerate tool wear and compromise dimensional accuracy.
