The TITAN USA TC34324 is a solid carbide drill mill designed for combined drilling and milling operations in a single tool. With a 3/8 inch cutting diameter, 90-degree point angle, and 4-flute geometry, this tool handles center drilling, spotting, chamfering, and peripheral milling across a wide range of materials. The AlTiN (aluminum titanium nitride) coating provides elevated heat resistance and extended tool life under high-speed cutting conditions. It is intended for use in CNC machining centers and manual mills by machinists and metalworking professionals.
This drill mill suits applications in job shops, production machining, and tool rooms where a single tool needs to perform multiple operations without a tool change. The 1 inch length of cut and 2-1/2 inch overall length make it well-suited for shallow to medium-depth pockets, spotting operations before drilling, and chamfering hole entries. Materials commonly machined with AlTiN-coated solid carbide tooling include steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and high-temperature alloys.
Designed for use in CNC machining centers, knee mills, and manual milling machines accepting a 3/8 inch straight shank via collet, end mill holder, or set-screw style toolholder.
Installation and use should be performed by qualified machinists familiar with cutting tool safety and machine operation. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is powered off before installing or removing the tool. Use a properly sized collet or end mill holder torqued to machine manufacturer specifications to prevent tool pullout. Always verify runout with a dial indicator before beginning production cuts.
