The TITAN USA TC27937 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for demanding material removal in superalloys, titanium, stainless steel, cast iron, and alloy steel including Inconel. It carries a 3/8 inch mill diameter with a 0.06 inch corner radius, five helical flutes, and an AlCromax (ALCRO-MAX) PVD coating that extends tool life under high-heat cutting conditions. Overall length is 4 inches with a 2 inch length of cut and a 3/8 inch straight-cylindrical shank. The extra-long reach and high-helix geometry make it well suited for both roughing and finishing passes in aerospace, energy, and general machining applications. Machinists and CNC operators install this tool in standard toolholders for production and job-shop environments.
The TC27937 is intended for use in vertical and horizontal machining centers where tight corner geometry and edge integrity matter. It performs in ferrous metals, high-temperature alloys, stainless steel, alloy steel, titanium alloy, and Inconel. The single-end, right-hand cutting and right-hand flute direction suit conventional CNC milling setups. Its extra-long length type provides reach in deep-pocket and high-wall applications without sacrificing rigidity at the shank. It is packaged as a single unit and is compatible with standard toolholder systems used in production machining.
Designed for use with standard straight-cylindrical toolholders accepting a 3/8 inch shank diameter. Primary workpiece materials include superalloys, titanium, stainless steel, cast iron, alloy steel, and Inconel.
Installation is performed by machinists or CNC setup technicians using a compatible toolholder. Confirm shank runout and toolholder clamping torque per the toolholder manufacturer specifications before operation. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and locked out before inserting or removing the tool. Do not exceed the rated length of cut when programming depth-of-cut passes, as overextension increases deflection and reduces edge life.
