The TITAN USA TC26496 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for high-performance material removal in demanding machining applications. It features a 3/4 inch mill diameter, a 1/4 inch (0.2500 inch) corner radius, and five helical flutes ground for both roughing and finishing passes in a single tool. The AlCroMax PVD coating provides heat and oxidation resistance at elevated cutting temperatures, making this end mill well suited for difficult-to-machine alloys. The overall length is 4 inches, with a 1-5/8 inch reach length and a 3/4 inch straight-cylindrical shank. Right-hand flute direction and right-hand cutting geometry are standard.
This end mill is intended for use in CNC machining centers and manual mills where close-tolerance profiling, contouring, and corner-radius work is required. Primary workpiece materials include superalloys, titanium alloys, Inconel, stainless steel, alloy steel, cast iron, and other ferrous metals. The high-helix geometry promotes chip evacuation in tough materials, reducing built-up edge and heat accumulation. It is a single-end tool and mounts into a standard toolholder accepting a 3/4 inch straight shank. Typical users include CNC machinists, tool-and-die shops, aerospace fabricators, and precision job shops.
Designed for use with standard toolholders accepting a 3/4 inch straight-cylindrical shank. Primary workpiece materials listed by manufacturer include superalloys, titanium alloy, Inconel, stainless steel, alloy steel, cast iron, and ferrous metals. UNSPSC Code 27112803.
Installation is performed by qualified CNC machinists or toolroom personnel using an appropriate toolholder and pull-stud or collet retention system. Confirm shank diameter tolerance compatibility with the toolholder bore before seating the tool. Verify spindle is fully stopped and machine is in an e-stop or lockout-tagout state before changing tooling. Do not exceed manufacturer-recommended depth-of-cut or feed parameters for the target workpiece material.
