The TITAN USA TC19241 is a solid carbide jobber-length drill bit sized to wire gauge No. 41 (0.0960 inches diameter) with a standard 118-degree split-free point. Built from solid carbide stock with a bright uncoated finish, this drill delivers the rigidity and edge retention needed for consistent small-diameter hole production. It runs a regular spiral flute in a right-hand cutting direction, giving clean chip evacuation on non-ferrous and soft materials. Machinists, tool-and-die technicians, and precision sheet-metal fabricators typically reach for this size when working aluminum, brass, copper, and similar non-ferrous stock where bore tolerances are tight.
The TC19241 fits general-purpose drilling applications across production and job-shop environments. It is well suited for drilling aluminum extrusions, circuit board fixturing, instrument panels, and light non-ferrous castings where a small pilot or finished hole in the 0.096-inch range is required. The 10xD flute-to-diameter ratio and 1-inch flute length keep the tool stiff enough for use in CNC machining centers, drill presses, and hand-held pneumatic or electric drills when the workpiece is properly fixtured.
Designed as a general-purpose solid carbide jobber drill for use in any standard drill chuck or collet accepting a 0.0960-inch straight shank; part of the TITAN USA TC19 series covering the 0.0500 to 0.1000 inch diameter range.
Installation and use should be performed by a qualified machinist or tooling technician familiar with small-diameter carbide tooling. Secure the workpiece firmly before drilling — carbide is brittle and will fracture under side-load or chatter. Ensure the drill chuck or collet is clean and properly tightened to avoid runout, which is especially damaging at sub-0.1-inch diameters. Inspect the cutting edges before each use; carbide micro-drills do not tolerate re-centering on an already-started hole without proper alignment.
