The TITAN USA TC19121 is a solid carbide jobber-length drill bit sized to Letter U (0.3680 inches) with a 118-degree split point. It is designed for right-hand cutting with a regular spiral flute and a straight cylindrical shank. The overall length is 4.25 inches with a flute length of 2.75 inches, giving it a 7xD flute-to-diameter ratio suited for general-purpose drilling operations. The bright, uncoated finish keeps the carbide surface exposed for direct heat management. This bit is typically installed and operated by machinists, tool-and-die technicians, and maintenance professionals working on production or field drilling tasks.
The TC19121 is built for drilling steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, superalloys, and titanium. The solid carbide construction provides the rigidity needed when cutting hard or abrasive workpiece materials where high-speed steel tooling would wear prematurely. The split point geometry reduces thrust and helps the bit self-center without a pilot hole, making it practical for CNC drilling operations and hand-fed drill press work across a range of industrial and manufacturing applications.
Designed as a general-purpose jobber drill for use in standard drill chucks and collets accepting a 0.3680-inch straight shank. Compatible with CNC machining centers, drill presses, and hand-held power drills configured for right-hand rotation. Primary workpiece material codes P, M, K, N, and S are supported per the supplier specification.
Solid carbide drill bits are brittle relative to high-speed steel; avoid side-loading the shank or using the bit to pry chips from the hole. Ensure the workpiece is firmly clamped and the spindle is properly aligned before starting the cut. Power down the machine and confirm the spindle has stopped completely before changing or inspecting the bit. Coolant-through is not supported by this tool; use surface-applied cutting fluid appropriate for the workpiece material when drilling steel or stainless steel.
