The TITAN USA TC17033 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling operations in metal, composites, and hard materials. It features a 0.5 inch cutting diameter with a 3 inch length of cut (LOC) and a 6 inch overall length (OAL), making it well suited for deep-pocket and extended-reach applications where rigidity matters. The micrograin carbide substrate provides wear resistance and edge retention across demanding cutting cycles. With a 30-degree helix angle and 2-flute geometry, this end mill is optimized for chip evacuation in slotting and peripheral milling. It ships bright and uncoated, ready for use in dry or light-lubricant environments. Machinists and CNC operators in job shops, tool rooms, and production environments are the primary users.
This end mill is suited for use on vertical machining centers, CNC mills, and manual knee mills where a 0.5 inch shank is standard. The 2-flute design provides generous gullet space for chip clearance in full-slot cuts and deep-cavity work. Right-hand cut and right-hand upcut flute direction are standard configurations compatible with conventional spindle rotation. Applications include profiling, slotting, contouring, and step milling in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. The 3 inch LOC accommodates workpieces and fixture setups that require extended engagement depth beyond what a standard-length end mill can reach.
Designed as a direct-fit replacement or standard tooling selection for CNC machining centers and manual mills using 0.5 inch collets, end mill holders, or Weldon-style tool holders with a 0.5 inch bore.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC setup technician. Secure the shank in a properly sized collet or end mill holder and torque to the machine manufacturer specification before running. Inspect the tool holder bore and collet for wear or contamination before seating. Always verify spindle direction and feed-rate programming before initiating a cut to avoid tool breakage or workpiece damage.
