The TITAN USA TC15424 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling operations in metal fabrication and machining environments. It features a 3/8-inch diameter with a 1-1/8-inch length of cut and three right-hand flutes with a 30-degree helix angle. The AlTiN coating provides high heat resistance and extended tool life in demanding cutting conditions. The micrograin carbide substrate adds toughness and wear resistance across a range of ferrous and non-ferrous materials. This is a single-end, centercutting tool, meaning it can be used for both peripheral and plunge cutting operations. It is installed and used by machinists and toolroom professionals on CNC mills and manual milling machines.
This end mill is suited for slot milling, profiling, and contouring applications in materials such as alloy steels, stainless steels, hardened steels, and high-temperature alloys where AlTiN coating performs at its best. The right-hand cutting direction and upcut flute geometry help clear chips efficiently during standard climb and conventional milling passes. With a 3/8-inch shank diameter matching the cutter diameter and a 3-inch overall length, it fits standard ER and side-lock collet systems used on most CNC machining centers and knee mills.
Designed as a standard-shank solid carbide square end mill for use in CNC machining centers, knee mills, and manual milling machines equipped with 3/8-inch ER collets or side-lock holders.
Installation is performed by a machinist or toolroom technician. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and locked before changing tooling. Seat the shank fully into the collet or holder to the recommended gauge depth and torque the retention nut according to the toolholder manufacturer specification. Inspect the cutting edges for chips or damage before each use, as carbide tools can fracture if run with compromised geometry.
