The TITAN USA TC15033 is a two-flute, solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling operations in metal fabrication, moldmaking, and general machining. It carries a 0.5-inch mill diameter with a 2-inch length of cut and a 4-inch overall length, making it well suited for slotting, profiling, and peripheral milling where tool rigidity and edge retention are priorities. The micrograin carbide construction delivers a tighter grain structure than standard carbide grades, supporting longer tool life and consistent surface finish. The bright, uncoated finish is appropriate for non-ferrous metals and a broad range of general-purpose materials where coating adhesion is not required.
This end mill is used in vertical machining centers, CNC knee mills, and manual bridgeport-style machines across job shops, toolrooms, and production environments. It is a single-end tool with a right-hand cut and right-hand flute direction. The 30-degree helix angle promotes smooth chip evacuation during full-slot and side-milling passes. The centercutting geometry allows plunge entry directly into the workpiece without a pre-drilled starting hole, adding flexibility in programming and setup.
Designed as a standard 0.5-inch shank square end mill compatible with any ER, side-lock, shrink-fit, or Weldon-style toolholder accepting a 0.5-inch straight shank across CNC machining centers and manual milling machines.
Installation is performed by a machinist or toolroom technician following standard tool-change procedures for the machine in use. Power down the spindle and engage the machine lockout before loading or removing the tool from the holder. Ensure the shank is fully seated to the recommended insertion depth for the holder type to prevent pullout under cutting loads. Verify runout at the cutting diameter after clamping before beginning a production cut.
