The TITAN USA CS10005 is a combination drill and countersink designed to perform two operations in a single pass: drilling a pilot hole and cutting a countersink recess simultaneously. Built from high-speed steel with a bright uncoated finish, this tool is suited for use in metal fabrication, woodworking, and general machining applications. It features a 3/16 inch point diameter, a 7/16 inch body diameter, and a 2-3/4 inch overall length. The 118-degree drill point angle and 60-degree included countersink angle are standard geometry for most fastener seating work. Machinists, tool-and-die technicians, and general fabricators are the primary users.
This combo drill countersink is used wherever a fastener must sit flush or below the surface of the workpiece. Typical applications include countersinking for flat-head machine screws, rivets, and similar hardware in light-gauge metals, plastics, and wood composite materials. The double-end configuration extends tool life by providing two usable cutting ends. Right-hand cutting direction is compatible with standard drill presses, CNC mills, and hand-held power drills rotating in the conventional clockwise direction. Trade size 5 corresponds to the standard sizing convention for combination drill countersinks.
Designed as a standard trade size 5 combination drill countersink compatible with drill presses, manual mills, CNC machining centers, and hand-held power drills accepting round-shank tooling with a 7/16 inch body diameter.
Installation is performed by machinists or fabricators using standard drill press or milling equipment. Secure the workpiece firmly before operation and set spindle speed appropriate for the workpiece material and tool diameter per standard machining reference tables. Inspect both cutting ends for wear or chipping before use. Follow applicable shop safety practices including eye protection and proper chip management when operating rotary cutting tools.
