The TITAN PRO TRCF60 is a single-capacitance, round motor run capacitor rated at 60 microfarads (MFD) and 440 volts, built for continuous-duty service in HVAC equipment. The drawn steel housing measures 2-3/8 inches in diameter by 3-15/16 inches in length. It uses a non-PCB biodegradable synthetic oil dielectric and includes a physical interrupter as a built-in safety device. Life testing is conducted at 120 percent of rated voltage at 85 degrees F for 1,000 continuous hours, and cycle testing is performed at 140 percent of rated voltage at 85 degrees F for 100,000 cycles. Licensed HVAC technicians install this capacitor as a direct component in motor start and run circuits.
The TRCF60 is suited for residential and light commercial HVAC applications where a round, single-capacitance run capacitor is required. Typical installations include furnace blower motors and condenser fan motors on split-system air conditioners and heat pumps. The quad-blade quick-connect terminals allow straightforward field installation without soldering. This capacitor is also rated for use with air conditioner and refrigerant compressor applications, making it a practical stock item for service technicians covering a range of equipment types.
Designed for use with furnace blower motors, condenser fan motors, air conditioners, and refrigerant compressors requiring a single-capacitance round run capacitor rated at 60 MFD and 440 volts.
Motor run capacitors are installed by licensed HVAC technicians as part of motor run circuits in air conditioning, heat pump, and forced-air heating systems. Always disconnect and lock out power to the unit before servicing capacitors, and discharge the capacitor fully before handling, as capacitors retain a dangerous charge after power is removed. Verify that the MFD rating and voltage rating of the replacement match the motor nameplate specifications before installation. Work should comply with applicable NEC requirements and local codes.
