The TINGLEY RUBBER CORPORATION 26226.11 is a mid-calf work boot built for demanding environments where liquid exposure, cold temperatures, and slip hazards are constant concerns. Standing 10 inches in height, it features a composite safety toe that meets ASTM F2413 M/I/C EH requirements and will not trigger metal detectors. The upper is constructed from Aerex 1.5.5, a proprietary microcellular polymer that is 40% lighter than standard rubber and is 100% seamless and liquid-proof. Tiny air bubbles in the material insulate against cold and resist heat buildup during extended wear. A beveled heel reduces back and leg strain during long shifts. Licensed trade and safety professionals working in food processing, agriculture, petrochemical, and chemical handling environments rely on this boot for all-day protection.
The 26226.11 is suited for applications in food processing operations including dairy, meats, vegetables, and refrigerated or frozen food environments. It is also appropriate for petrochemical, farm and agricultural, and chemical handling settings. The mid-calf height allows pant legs to fit over the top of the boot when needed. A thumb pocket at the top opening provides a firm, no-slip grip for easy donning and removal at the end of a shift. The Chevron-Plus nitrile rubber outsole delivers grip performance on dry, wet, and contaminated surfaces, and is rated slip-resistant per ASTM F3445 as of July 2021.
Designed for use in food processing, petrochemical, farm and agricultural, and chemical handling environments where ASTM F2413-rated composite toe protection and liquid-proof construction are required. This listing is for Size 11.
Inspect the boot for damage before each use, particularly along the seamless upper and outsole bond line. Verify tread wear indicators before deploying in environments where slip resistance is a safety requirement. Replace when tread wear indicators show that half the outsole depth has been lost. Consult applicable workplace safety programs and PPE standards when specifying footwear for compliance purposes.
