The THOMAS BETTS SSFCC1/23/4F1/4 is a spring steel side flange mounted conduit clip designed for securing rigid and EMT conduit runs to structural flanges and channel. The clip accommodates 1/2 inch and 3/4 inch EMT as well as 3/4 inch rigid conduit, covering common trade sizes in a single part. The spring steel construction provides consistent holding force without fasteners threading into the conduit wall. An anodized finish improves corrosion resistance in light industrial and commercial environments. Electricians use this clip where conduit must be mounted flush to beam flanges or strut with a low-profile, side-entry attachment.
This clip is suited for commercial and light industrial electrical installations where conduit routing follows structural steel beams, joists, or flange surfaces. The side flange mount design allows the installer to secure conduit laterally against a flange without drilling through the flange face. It accepts flanges from 1/8 inch minimum to 1/4 inch maximum thickness. Typical applications include conduit support on steel framing in tenant improvement work, mechanical rooms, and equipment pads where EMT or rigid steel conduit is the raceway of choice.

Installation is performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with NEC requirements for conduit support spacing. Verify that the mounting flange thickness falls within the 1/8 inch to 1/4 inch range before installing. No tools are required to engage the spring clip onto the flange, but confirm a positive seat and that the conduit is fully captured before completing the run. De-energize any adjacent circuits before working in the conduit pathway.
