The THOMAS BETTS RC10-14F is a standard fork terminal designed for crimped electrical connections in wire termination applications. Constructed with a copper contact body and tin (TiN) plating over a partially insulated nylon sleeve, this terminal delivers reliable conductivity and corrosion resistance. Rated at 600 volts, it accepts a 1/4 inch stud and features a fork width of 1/2 inch and an overall length of 1.12 inches. Electricians and panel technicians install these terminals to create secure, reusable screw-lug connections on control panels, junction boxes, and equipment termination points.
The RC10-14F is suited for use in residential, commercial, and light industrial electrical work wherever a fork-style crimp terminal is required. The yellow color coding indicates compatibility with a specific wire gauge range per standard industry color conventions. Its partially insulated design provides finger protection near the terminal barrel while leaving the fork exposed for stud engagement. These terminals are commonly installed on terminal blocks, bus bars, and equipment grounding or power feed points.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation fork terminal for use with 1/4 inch stud termination points in standard residential, commercial, and industrial electrical panel and wiring applications.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with NEC guidelines. De-energize and lock out the circuit before terminating or removing any conductors. Use a calibrated ratchet crimping tool appropriate for the terminal barrel size to ensure a gas-tight crimp. Do not over-torque the stud fastener, as this may deform the fork tongue and compromise the connection.
