The THOMAS BETTS RB14-6FL is a locking fork terminal designed for secure, vibration-resistant electrical connections in panel wiring, control circuits, and equipment termination applications. Rated at 600 volts, this crimp-style terminal features a partially insulated nylon sleeve in blue, indicating compatibility with 14 to 16 AWG wire ranges standard to that color code. The copper contact with a TiN (tin) plating provides corrosion resistance and reliable conductivity. The locking fork design prevents the terminal from backing off a screw or stud during service, making it a preferred choice for electricians and control panel assemblers who require stable, long-term terminations.
This terminal is suited for residential and commercial electrical work, HVAC control panel wiring, motor control centers, and industrial equipment assemblies. The 6 stud size and 1/4-inch fork width fit standard 6-32 and similar screw terminations commonly found on terminal blocks, bus bars, and equipment ground lugs. It is installed by licensed electricians and trained control panel technicians wherever a dependable fork-style crimp lug is required. Each package contains 100 terminals, with a minimum order quantity of one package.
Designed for use with 6 stud size fasteners and 1/4-inch fork-width termination points, typical of terminal blocks, grounding screws, and equipment lugs in residential, commercial, and light industrial electrical panels.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with NEC requirements. De-energize the circuit and verify absence of voltage before terminating or removing any conductors. Use a calibrated ratcheting crimp tool appropriate for the wire gauge and terminal series to ensure a gas-tight crimp. Do not over-insert the wire beyond the terminal barrel stop, and inspect the insulation sleeve for cracks or deformation after crimping.
