The THOMAS BETTS LT43C is a straight, insulated conduit connector designed for use with liquid-tight flexible conduit. It features a threaded connection and is constructed from thermoplastic, making it well suited for non-hazardous, water-resistant environments. The LT43C accepts 3/8 inch trade size liquid-tight conduit and is rated for insulated terminations. Electricians use this fitting to secure liquid-tight conduit to junction boxes, enclosures, and equipment knockouts where moisture resistance is required. The straight connector profile keeps runs compact and simplifies installation in tight spaces.
This connector is intended for use in residential and light commercial electrical applications where liquid-tight flexible conduit must terminate at an enclosure or device. Common install scenarios include HVAC equipment connections, motor terminations, and any application requiring a water-resistant conduit seal in a non-hazardous location. The thermoplastic body offers corrosion resistance and is suitable for wet and damp location use where metallic fittings may not be preferred.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard-fit connector for 3/8 inch trade size liquid-tight flexible thermoplastic conduit systems in non-hazardous locations.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC). De-energize the circuit and verify absence of voltage before making any conduit terminations. Hand-tighten the connector into the knockout and secure with the appropriate locknut; do not overtighten, as thermoplastic fittings can crack under excessive torque. Ensure the conduit is fully seated and the insulated throat is properly engaged before restoring power.
