The THOMAS BETTS LT20C is an angled, insulated liquid-tight conduit connector designed for securing flexible liquid-tight conduit to electrical enclosures, junction boxes, and control panels. Built from thermoplastic with a threaded connection, it provides a water-resistant seal suitable for non-hazardous indoor and outdoor installations. The angled profile makes it well-suited for tight spaces where a straight connector would create a sharp bend in the conduit. At a 3/8 inch trade size, it covers one of the most common small-diameter liquid-tight applications encountered in commercial and industrial electrical work.
This connector is used wherever flexible liquid-tight conduit must terminate at a box or enclosure in non-hazardous locations. Common applications include HVAC equipment wiring, motor connections, pump wiring, and control panel builds where water resistance is required. The angled body eases routing in confined areas, reducing stress on the conduit and conductors inside. It is installed by electricians and HVAC technicians working on both residential and light commercial systems.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard-use fitting for 3/8 inch trade size liquid-tight flexible conduit systems in non-hazardous, water-resistant applications.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with NEC Article 350 governing liquid-tight flexible nonmetallic conduit. De-energize all circuits before beginning work on any enclosure or conduit termination. Thread the connector into the enclosure knockout and tighten with an appropriate wrench to ensure a secure, water-resistant seal without overtightening the thermoplastic body. Confirm that the conduit is fully seated and the fitting is properly engaged before restoring power.
