The THOMAS BETTS C10-38 is a non-insulated, D-shaped ring terminal designed for crimp connections on 12 to 10 AWG copper conductors. The barrel and ring contact are copper with a TiN (titanium nitride) plating that resists corrosion and maintains conductivity at the termination point. At 1.1 inches long and 0.59 inches wide, the terminal fits a 3/8-inch stud. Electricians and panel technicians use this terminal to create secure, low-resistance connections at lugs, bus bars, and equipment terminals in control panels, motor circuits, and distribution equipment. It meets UL 486A, UL 486B, and CSA 22.2 standards for wire connectors.
This terminal is suited for residential, commercial, and light industrial electrical work where a bare ring lug is required. It works in control panel wiring, HVAC equipment connections, motor terminations, and general electrical distribution applications where wire sizes fall in the 12 to 10 AWG range. The 3/8-inch stud size is common in terminal blocks, motor starters, and equipment grounding points. Each package contains 50 terminals, and the minimum order quantity is 1 package.

Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with NEC requirements. De-energize and lock out the circuit before terminating or removing any ring terminal. Use a calibrated ratchet crimping tool rated for the wire gauge and terminal series to achieve a proper crimp — do not use pliers or uncalibrated tools as an improper crimp creates a high-resistance joint. Inspect the completed crimp visually before re-energizing the circuit.
