The THOMAS BETTS C10-250A is a non-insulated female disconnect terminal designed for quick-connect wiring applications in electrical panels, control circuits, and equipment wiring. The terminal features a brazed-seam, serrated barrel construction that delivers maximum tensile strength and a reliable crimp connection. It accepts conductors from 12 AWG minimum to 10 AWG maximum and is rated for temperatures up to 150 degrees C. The barrel is manufactured from electro tin plated brass for corrosion resistance and conductivity. Electricians and panel builders install this terminal with compatible crimping tools from the matching tool line engineered for this series.
This terminal is suited for residential and commercial electrical applications where a compact, durable quick-disconnect connection is needed. The 0.25 inch tab size makes it compatible with standard 0.25 inch male tab receptacles. Internal barrel serrations and the long barrel design lock conductors securely during crimping, reducing pull-out risk in vibrating or high-cycle environments such as motor control panels, appliance wiring harnesses, and HVAC control circuits.
Designed for use with standard 0.25 inch male disconnect tabs. Compatible with the full STA-KON Series 250 line of matching male tabs and installing tools. Suitable for conductors ranging from 12 AWG to 10 AWG in non-insulated terminal applications.
Installation should be performed by a qualified electrician in accordance with applicable NEC requirements. De-energize all circuits before terminating conductors. Use a calibrated crimping tool engineered for this terminal series to achieve the specified crimp and avoid damage to the barrel. Do not re-crimp a terminal that has already been crimped onto a conductor.
