The THOMAS BETTS A18-10F is a non-insulated, crimp-style fork terminal designed for secure electrical connections in panel wiring, control circuits, and general wiring applications. Rated at 600 volts, this terminal features a copper contact body with a TiN (tin) plating for corrosion resistance and reliable conductivity. The red color coding identifies the wire gauge range at a glance on the bench or in the field. It terminates to a number 10 stud and is applied using a standard hand or pneumatic crimp tool. Electricians and panel builders rely on this terminal type for fast, repeatable terminations that meet published UL and CSA standards.
This terminal is suited for residential and commercial electrical panel assembly, industrial control cabinet wiring, and equipment termination work where a non-insulated fork lug is called for. The crimp connection style is compatible with standard ratchet-style crimp tools used in low-voltage and line-voltage wiring. Applications include motor control centers, distribution panels, HVAC equipment control wiring, and similar fixed wiring installations. Sold in a package quantity of 100, making it practical for production wiring and service work.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and general-use fork terminal for number 10 stud applications in residential and commercial electrical wiring assemblies.
Installation is performed by a licensed electrician or qualified panel builder. De-energize and lock out the circuit before terminating or removing any fork terminal. Use a calibrated crimp tool rated for the terminal series to ensure a gas-tight crimp connection. Inspect the crimped terminal for proper seating and verify stud torque per equipment manufacturer specifications and applicable NEC requirements before re-energizing.
