The THOMAS BETTS 3135 is a steel, insulated, angled conduit connector designed for use with flexible metal conduit (FMC). It secures to the conduit via a set screw connection and provides a reliable termination point at enclosures, panels, or junction boxes. The angled body allows for easier routing in tight or congested spaces where a straight connector would be impractical. Rated for non-hazardous area applications, this connector is a standard trade-size 3/4 inch fitting used by licensed electricians in commercial and residential electrical installations.
This connector is intended for use with 3/4 inch trade size FMC in non-hazardous locations. Typical applications include connecting flexible metal conduit to electrical enclosures, motor termination boxes, and control panels where a degree of vibration or movement is present. The insulated throat protects conductor insulation at the point of entry. The angled design suits installations where conduit must transition direction close to the enclosure.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation fitting for 3/4 inch trade size flexible metal conduit (FMC) in non-hazardous location electrical systems.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with applicable NEC requirements. De-energize the circuit and verify the absence of voltage before making any connections at the enclosure. Tighten the set screw with the appropriate screwdriver or hex key to ensure a secure mechanical connection. Do not use this connector with liquid-tight flexible metal conduit (LFMC) or in classified hazardous locations.
