The THOMAS BETTS 15111-050 is a flexible liquidtight conduit designed to protect electrical wiring in wet, damp, or oil-exposed environments. The conduit features a PVC body with a liquidtight construction that resists moisture intrusion, making it well suited for machine tool connections, HVAC equipment hookups, and outdoor electrical installations. It carries a 2-inch trade size with an inside diameter of 2.025 inches and an outside diameter of 2.357 inches. Licensed electricians and industrial maintenance technicians are the primary installers. The coil ships in 250-foot total length and is sold in 1-foot cut increments with a 50-foot minimum cut length per order.
This conduit is used in residential, commercial, and light industrial electrical systems wherever a flexible, moisture-resistant raceway is required. Typical applications include final connections to HVAC units, pumps, compressors, and motors where vibration isolation or equipment movement must be accommodated. The black PVC jacket holds up in both indoor and outdoor environments. It is appropriate for use in conduit runs that require flexibility at the termination point rather than a rigid raceway throughout.
Designed as a standard liquidtight flexible conduit for use with 2-inch trade size liquidtight fittings and connectors in NEC-compliant electrical installations.
Installation must be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with NEC Article 350 governing liquidtight flexible nonmetallic conduit. De-energize all circuits before making conduit connections at equipment terminations. Use only listed 2-inch trade size liquidtight fittings rated for the conduit type. Avoid sharp bends that exceed the minimum bend radius, as kinking the conduit compromises its liquidtight integrity.
