The THOMAS BETTS 14RB-6FL is a locking fork terminal designed for crimp-style wire terminations in electrical wiring applications. It features partial vinyl insulation in blue, making it easy to identify during installation. The terminal is rated for 600 volts and accepts a No. 6 stud size with a fork width of 0.25 inches and an overall length of 0.97 inches. The copper contact body carries a TiN (titanium nitride) plating for reliable conductivity and corrosion resistance. Licensed electricians and trained wire harness assemblers install this terminal using standard crimping tools. Sold in packages of 100.
This terminal is suited for use in residential, commercial, and light industrial electrical panels, control panels, and wiring harnesses where a secure, removable fork-style connection is required. The locking design prevents the terminal from backing off a stud or screw connection under vibration, making it a practical choice for equipment that experiences mechanical movement. It is appropriate for applications where branch circuit wiring must terminate reliably at a screw or stud connection point.
Designed for use with No. 6 stud or screw terminations in crimp-style electrical wiring assemblies. Specific wire gauge compatibility should be confirmed against the terminal manufacturer data sheet prior to installation.
Installation should be performed by a qualified electrician in accordance with the NEC and applicable local codes. De-energize and lock out the circuit before terminating or removing any wiring connection. Use a calibrated ratcheting crimping tool appropriate for the terminal barrel size to ensure a full, consistent crimp. Do not over-insert or force the fork onto a stud larger than the rated No. 6 stud size.
