The THHNCU-GENERIC thhn350mcmstrorgmr is a 350 kcmil stranded copper THHN building wire rated for 600 volts and 90 degrees C in dry environments. Featuring a 37-strand copper conductor, orange PVC thermoplastic insulation, and a nylon jacket, this wire is designed for use in conduit runs in commercial and industrial electrical installations. Ampacity is 260 amps at 60 degrees C, 310 amps at 75 degrees C, and 350 amps at 90 degrees C. It is available cut to length, making it practical for panel feeds, feeder circuits, and branch circuit wiring where large-gauge conductors are required. Licensed electricians and electrical contractors are the typical installers.
This wire is suited for commercial, industrial, and large residential electrical systems where high-ampacity feeder or branch circuit conductors are required in conduit. The orange insulation aids in color-coding and conductor identification during installation and future service work. Cut-to-length availability reduces waste on job sites where specific run lengths are known in advance. Applications include service entrance feeders, subpanel feeds, motor branch circuits, and similar high-current applications governed by the National Electrical Code.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard-specification THHN building wire suitable for use in conduit systems requiring 350 kcmil copper conductors rated at 600 volts per NEC requirements.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with the National Electrical Code and applicable local codes. Power must be de-energized and locked out at the source before pulling or terminating conductors. Use appropriately rated conduit, lugs, and termination hardware rated for 350 kcmil conductors and the intended ampacity. Verify conduit fill calculations prior to installation using the 797 mil outer diameter.
