The TEMPIL 24410 is a temperature indicating liquid used to verify surface temperatures on metal, glass, and plastic substrates. Applied directly to a work surface, it melts and leaves a visible mark when the material reaches 375 degrees F (191 degrees C), providing a fast and reliable visual confirmation of heat levels. The formula dries quickly on both horizontal and vertical surfaces and is engineered with an enhanced anti-settling compound for consistent performance. Accuracy is within plus or minus 1 percent of the Fahrenheit rating and plus or minus 3 percent of the Celsius rating. Each container holds 2 ounces of liquid. HVAC technicians, pipefitters, welders, and sheet metal workers rely on this type of product to confirm brazing, soldering, and heat treatment temperatures without guesswork.
The 24410 is suited for use in commercial and industrial settings where precise thermal verification is required before, during, or after a heat process. Typical applications include monitoring surface temperatures on pipe fittings, heat exchangers, metal fabrications, and glass components. The liquid is applied in a thin coat prior to heating. When the surface reaches the rated temperature, the liquid changes appearance, giving the installer or inspector an immediate, unambiguous indication that the target temperature has been met.
Compatible with glass, metal, and plastic surfaces. Designed for use wherever surface temperature verification is required during heat-related trade work including soldering, brazing, and heat treatment operations.
Apply a thin, even coat to the target surface before beginning the heat process. Allow the coating to dry fully before applying heat. This product is typically used by HVAC technicians, pipefitters, and welders in accordance with applicable industry safety standards. Store the container upright in a cool, dry location and seal tightly after each use to prevent premature drying or settling.
