The TELEMECANIQUE SENSORS ZCE11 is a limit switch head designed as an accessory for ZCK series limit switches. Measuring 3.7 inches in length, 1.9 inches in height, and 1.8 inches in width, this head mounts onto compatible ZCK limit switch bodies to complete the switching assembly. Limit switch heads of this type translate mechanical actuation from cams, levers, or moving machine components into electrical switching action. The ZCE11 weighs 0.03 pounds, making it a lightweight component suited for machine tool, conveyor, and industrial automation control panels. Licensed electricians and industrial maintenance technicians are the primary installers of this component.
The ZCE11 limit switch head is intended for use in industrial control applications where position sensing or end-of-travel detection is required. It is compatible with a broad range of ZCK and ZCMD series limit switch bodies, making it a versatile replacement or spare for existing installations. Typical applications include conveyor systems, packaging machinery, material handling equipment, and general factory automation where reliable electromechanical position detection is required.
Compatible with the following ZCK and ZCMD series limit switch bodies: ZCD21, ZCD21M12, ZCD25, ZCD26, ZCD27, ZCD28, ZCD29, ZCD29M12, ZCD31, ZCD35, ZCD37, ZCD39, ZCMD21C12, ZCMD21L08R12, ZCMD21L08U78, ZCMD21L1, ZCMD21L2, ZCMD21L5, ZCMD21M12, ZCMD25L1, ZCMD25L2, ZCMD25L5, ZCMD29C12, ZCMD29L1, ZCMD29L2, ZCMD29L5, ZCMD37L1, ZCMD.
Installation of limit switch heads is typically performed by licensed electricians or qualified industrial maintenance technicians. De-energize and lock out the machine control circuit before removing or installing any limit switch component, following LOTO procedures per OSHA and applicable NEC guidelines. Ensure the switch body is clean and free of debris before seating the head to maintain proper actuation alignment. Do not force the head onto an incompatible switch body.
