The TELEMECANIQUE SENSORS XCSDMP7015 is a noncontact safety limit switch designed for machine guarding and industrial safety interlock applications. It operates at 24 volts DC and is rated for 100 amps, with a NO/2NC contact configuration that supports both normally open and dual normally closed safety circuits. The switch uses a non-contact actuator style, eliminating mechanical wear associated with traditional contact-style limit switches. The plastic housing carries IP66 and IP67 ingress protection ratings, making it suitable for wash-down and wet-environment installations. A 5-meter cable provides the terminal connection, reducing the need for additional field wiring at the switch body.
This safety limit switch is used in industrial and commercial settings where machine safety interlocks are required on guarded access points such as doors, gates, and panels. The non-contact design is well suited for applications where actuator misalignment or vibration would accelerate wear on a mechanical switch. Licensed electricians and industrial maintenance technicians typically install this device as part of a machine safety circuit conforming to EN/IEC 60204-1 or EN/ISO 12100 safety standards. Its compact profile fits into tight mounting spaces on equipment enclosures and guarded machinery.
Designed as an OEM-style noncontact safety limit switch for industrial machine guarding and interlock safety circuits requiring a 24 VDC, NO/2NC configuration with IP66/IP67 protection.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician or qualified industrial maintenance technician in accordance with NEC requirements and applicable machine safety standards such as EN/IEC 60204-1. Disconnect and lock out all power to the machine control circuit before mounting or wiring the switch. Verify that the non-contact actuator target is positioned within the manufacturer-specified sensing range and that the cable is routed away from sharp edges or pinch points. Do not use this switch as the sole means of machine energy isolation.
