The TE-CO 68003 is a 52-piece fixturing step block and clamp set designed for workholding applications on milling machines and machining centers equipped with T-slot tables. The set is built around a 25mm step block height, a 14mm T-slot width, and M12x1.75 stud thread, giving machinists a matched system of components that work together to secure workpieces firmly during cutting operations. Stud lengths included in the set span 80, 110, 125, 150, 175, and 200mm, providing flexibility across a wide range of workpiece heights. The T-slot nut width is 22mm. This set is installed by machinists and toolroom technicians working in production or job-shop environments.
This fixturing set is suited for use on vertical and horizontal milling machines, CNC machining centers, and surface grinders with standard T-slot tables. The variety of stud lengths and step block configurations allows technicians to adapt quickly to different part geometries and fixture heights without sourcing individual components separately. It is a practical general-purpose workholding solution for both setup and production runs where consistent clamping force and positioning are required.
Designed for use with T-slot machine tables accepting a 14mm T-slot width and M12x1.75 threaded studs, typical of standard milling machines and machining centers.
Installation is performed by machinists or toolroom technicians. Before setting up workholding components, ensure the machine spindle is stopped and all motion axes are locked or powered down per standard shop safety procedures. Verify that T-slot dimensions on the table match the 14mm slot width and 22mm nut width before assembly. Use a calibrated torque wrench to tighten clamping hardware to the machine or fixture manufacturer recommendations - do not overtighten studs or nuts, as this can damage T-slots or distort the workpiece.
