The TE-CO 20412 is a 52-piece fixturing step block and clamp set designed for workholding applications on milling machines, drill presses, and machining centers equipped with T-slot tables. The set includes step blocks, clamps, studs, nuts, and washers sized to work with a 7/16-inch T-slot and a 3/8-16 stud thread. Step block width is 1 inch. Stud lengths cover a range from 3 to 8 inches, giving machinists the flexibility to clamp workpieces of varying heights without switching hardware. The full set weighs 18 pounds and ships as a single package.
This set is suited for job shops, tool rooms, and production environments where operators need a complete, ready-to-use fixturing solution. It handles general-purpose clamping of raw stock, castings, plates, and fabricated parts on any T-slot table matched to the 7/16-inch slot width. Machinists, CNC operators, and manual mill operators are the primary installers and users of this type of hardware.
Designed for use with T-slot tables featuring a 7/16-inch slot width and accepting 3/8-16 threaded studs, typical of standard milling machines and drill press tables in job shop and production environments.
Installation is performed by machinists or CNC setup personnel. Before clamping, ensure the machine is powered off and the spindle is fully stopped. Position step blocks and clamps so clamping force is directed downward and toward the workpiece without overhanging unsupported areas of the T-slot. Studs should be snugged evenly and torqued with a standard wrench - do not use impact tools on fixturing studs, as overtightening can crack step blocks or damage T-slot grooves.
