The TB WOOD'S 7 is an EPDM flexible two-piece sleeve designed for use with Sure-Flex jaw-style flexible couplings in power transmission applications. This sleeve serves as the flexible element between two coupling hubs, absorbing shock loads, dampening vibration, and accommodating minor shaft misalignment. Constructed from Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer (EPDM) rubber, it offers good resistance to heat, ozone, and weathering. The sleeve measures 2.19 inches overall length with an outside diameter of 4.34 inches and is rated for up to 725 inch-pounds of torque at a maximum speed of 5,250 RPM. Mechanical and maintenance technicians install this component as part of a complete Sure-Flex coupling assembly.
