The TB WOOD'S 5 is an EPDM flexible two-piece sleeve designed for use with Sure-Flex flexible couplings in power transmission applications. Manufactured from Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer, this sleeve provides flexible torque transfer between driver and driven shafts while absorbing shock and dampening vibration. It measures 1.5625 inches in overall length with an outside diameter of 2.9375 inches and handles up to 240 inch-pounds of torque. The sleeve is sold as a single component and requires two coupling hubs of the same outside diameter plus one insert to form a complete coupling assembly. Mechanical contractors, millwrights, and industrial maintenance technicians are the typical installers.

This Sure-Flex sleeve is suited for use in mechanical drive systems where flexible shaft coupling is required, including HVAC equipment drives, pump drives, compressor drives, and general industrial machinery.
