Tap Magic 17040E is a cutting oil supplied in a 55 gal drum and formulated for drilling, tapping, and milling on all metals. This EP-Xtra extreme-pressure, petroleum-based cutting fluid is chlorinated and intended for difficult and long-duration cuts; it is reported to prevent rust and corrosion while producing a microfine finish. Key properties include specific gravity 1.0, flash point 300 °F, and viscosity 120.
