Product Description

The Tane Alarm WS-1 is a low cost reliable water sensor that operates on 12VDC alarm panels using a 24-hour zone open loop circuit. Wiring is similar to a two-wire smoke detector, with red (+) and black (-) wires inside the cable jacket. The sensor draws minimal current from the alarm panel's 24-hour open loop circuit. When the terminals get wet, the internal transistor closes the circuit, triggering the alarm panel.
